Deborah Rowan Wright是一位海洋保护的研究员。她曾跟英国非营利机构Whale & Dolphin Conservation、Friends of the Earth以及Marinet合作过。她的研究结果曾由International Whaling Commission、Ecologist杂志以及其它权威刊物出版。她2010年的政策文章The Ocean Planet影响了Marinet的 捕鱼政策改革计划，让她获得Friend of the Earth的Communication of the Year奖项。
