关于作者：

Johan Op de Beeck is a historical author and was previously a journalist and editor-in-chief of various media. On French history he wrote the bestseller The Sun King (2018), the two-volume The French Revolution (2022) and five acclaimed books about the Napoleonic era: Napoleon's nightmare (2012), Waterloo (2013), the two-part biography Napoleon (2014) and The Heart of Napoleon (2016). The loss of Belgium (2015) and Leopold II (2020) over Belgian history was also a huge success. He also wrote two historical thrillers: The Plot of Laeken (2019) and The Enemy of the State (2021).
