Andrea Bajani出生于1975年，罗马。他出版过许多本书，也获得过许多奖项。他的书由世界各地权威出版社出版，包括Gallimard（法国）、Atheneum（荷兰）、MacLehose Press（英国）等等。

It’s rare, and exciting, to discover a significant new writer – or, rather, a significant writer new to someone like me, whose reading is restricted to his native language.  It seems that Andrea Bajani has, for a while now, been hiding in plain sight, at least as far as most American readers are concerned.  I hope to see his work made available to the English-speaking audience I feel it so richly deserves.”
