关于作者:

Josefa Ros Velasco is a postdoctoral researcher at the Complutense University of Madrid, where she directs the project "Pre-bored. Well-being and prevention of boredom in Spanish nursing homes." She specializes in Boredom Studies from a multidisciplinary perspective and is the founder and president of the International Society of Boredom Studies. She is also the editor of volumes such as "The culture of boredom" (BRILL, 2020) and "Boredom is in your mind" (Springer, 2019). She also contributes to the blog "Aging in society" published by CENIE (National Council of Madrid), where she publishes popular articles on boredom in older adults. Her academic achievements include the National Media Award from the DomusVi Foundation (2021), the UCM Alumni Research Award (2021), the Julián Award from the Community of Madrid (2020), and the Lincoln Book Prize for Excellence in Teaching and Service from Harvard University (2019).
