Born in Rome in 1975, he lives between Houston (Texas) and Italy. With Einaudi he has published Cordiali saluti (2005), Se consideri le colpe (2007), awarded with many literary prizes and Super Mondello Prize, Ogni promessa (2010) Bagutta Prize, La vita non è in ordine alfabetico (2014) Settembrini Prize and Un bene al mondo (2016). With Feltrinelli, the memoir Mi riconosci (2013) and Il libro delle case (2021), shortlisted for Premio Strega and Premio Campiello and translated in many countries.
